Terms of Service

Last updated October 3, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Ashore Jobs (“Ashore”, “we”) for using ashorejobs.com and its tools (“the Service”). By using the Service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Ashore.

Your account

You need to be at least 16 to use Ashore. You sign in with Google and are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep the information in your profile accurate: it's what your applications are built from.

Job listings and visa information

Listings are gathered from employers' sites and other public sources. They can be incomplete, out of date, or closed, and we don't vouch for any employer. Whether a role sponsors a visa is our best reading of the posting and what's known about the employer; it can be wrong. Nothing on Ashore, including the OPT Tracker (made of what users submit), is legal or immigration advice. Check with the employer, and with your school or an immigration attorney.

AI features

Fit checks, resume reading and tailored resumes are produced by AI and can contain mistakes. Tailored resumes only reword what your profile says, but you're responsible for making sure anything sent in your name is accurate. Some features have usage limits, which we may change.

AI agents acting for you

When you connect an AI agent to Ashore, you authorize it to use your account through your API key: to read your information, use your fit checks, and record applications. Applications your agent submits on employers' websites are made on your behalf and are your responsibility, including following those websites' terms. Keep your API key secret; disconnecting the agent on your profile revokes it. Agents are run by their own providers, not by Ashore, and we aren't responsible for what they do.

Ashore doesn't guarantee interviews, offers, or any outcome from applying.

Your content

You own what you upload, such as your resume and portfolio. You give Ashore permission to store, process and use it to run the Service for you, including sending it to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy and making it available to the agents you connect. OPT timelines you submit may be shown publicly, without your name.

Acceptable use

Don't:

  • scrape, copy or resell Ashore's listings or data, or access the Service by automated means other than an agent you've connected with your own API key;
  • get around usage limits, share API keys, or use another person's account;
  • submit false information, or apply in someone else's name;
  • interfere with the Service or try to access data that isn't yours;
  • use Ashore to break the law or anyone else's rights.

Other websites

Ashore links to employers' and other sites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Changes and ending

We may change or stop parts of the Service. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using Ashore at any time and ask us to delete your account.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Ashore isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose or US$100.

Indemnity

You agree to cover Ashore's losses and costs from claims arising out of your content, the applications made in your name, or your breaking these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you and Ashore agree to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and tell you on the site or by email if a change is significant. Continuing to use Ashore after that means you accept the new terms.
